  • For international undergraduate students

    Application closing dates*

    • Semester 1: late December
    • Semester 2: 31 May

    * Note: International students who are currently studying an Australian Year 12 or the IB in Australia should apply through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (see closing dates for Australian undergraduate students above). International students who are currently studying at the University of Melbourne who wish to transfer to another University of Melbourne course should apply online.

This will enable the application to be considered for a greater range and number of scholarships. Closing dates may vary according to the course for which the applicant is applying.     Timely applications

    • Semester 1 (February) entry: 30 November*
    • Semester 2 (July) entry: 31 May

    *For most courses. Some Graduate Schools will accept applications for Semester 1, 2013 from July 2012. Individual courses that accept early applications will provide rolling offers. Each eligible course will list closing dates and approximate processing times. Confirm closing dates with your graduate school.

    Late applications

    Applications submitted after these dates will be accepted for most courses, depending on the availability of places.

    Commonwealth supported places (where available) may not be available if you submit a late application.

    Please confirm application closing dates with admissions staff in the relevant graduate school.

    • Semester 2 entry: 30 April (for commencement in July)

    Before submitting applications for the following courses please confirm the closing date with the relevant faculty or graduate school.

    Late applications may be accepted in special circumstances, however students are advised to apply as early as possible to avoid visa delays.
