Minimum International Baccalaureate Diploma scores
The following are the guaranteed entry scores for international students completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma and applying to enter the University in 2016 or 2017*.
|Course name||2016 Guaranteed entry score||2017 Guaranteed Entry Score|
* The University of Melbourne guarantees admission to a course when an international student achieves the required score as listed above, has met the course prerequisites, has achieved the required grades in specified prerequisite subjects and has satisfied the English language requirements and there are still places in the course. If a student does not meet the guaranteed score, then the application cannot be considered for entry. The guaranteed scores apply only if no further study has been undertaken. Applicants who have only completed 1st year with 25 aggregate in best 5 subjects can apply for Trinity College Foundation Studies as a pathway into the University.
# Indicative score only, entry is not guaranteed.
^ Applicants must be qualified for University entry and have satisfied the course-specific extra requirements.

A guide to entry requirements for Australian (domestic) students studying overseas
Australian students who are studying overseas can refer to the entry standards above as a guide to the minimum entry standards. Achieving these standards means that you will be considered for a Commonwealth supported place (CSP) but is not a guarantee.
All applicants must also meet the University of Melbourne's English language requirements.
Some undergraduate courses also have extra requirements such as courses offered in the Faculty of VCA and MCM as well as the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences.
