Fees for single subject study (CAP)

For single subject study (CAP) you pay a tuition fee for each subject that you enrol in.

Your fees will vary depending on your enrolment (assessed or non-assessed mode), the subjects you choose (undergraduate or graduate and the area of study or discipline), as well as the study load (or Equivalent Full-Time Study Load - EFTSL) of each subject. Tuition fee payments are usually made before you commence your study.

Assessed mode

If you are choosing single subject study/CAP to use as credit towards a degree, or in order to meet prerequisites or as part of the non-school leaver pathway you should apply to study in assessed mode (as you will need to have your work graded/assessed). Tuition fees for single subject study/CAP subjects taken in assessed mode are detailed below.

Non-assessed mode

If you have chosen a single subject just to learn something new or to suit your interests, you may choose to study in non-assessed mode. Tuition fees for single subject study/CAP subjects taken in non-assessed mode are also listed below.
