- 1. The ATAR you have entered is equal to or higher than the minimum ATAR for this course which makes you eligible for a place (prerequisites apply). You should note that Commonwealth Supported Places (CSPs) are awarded on the basis of academic merit and the Clearly-in Rank may be higher than the minimum ATAR depending on demand and the number of places available. Only eligible Access Melbourne applicants will be admitted to a CSP below the minimum ATAR. If you achieve the minimum ATAR you will be considered for a place in this course (but remember you must meet the prerequisites and other requirements may apply). - 2. Selection into this course is based on a range of criteria and applicants must complete the extra requirements in order to be eligible for selection. - 3. If you complete Year 12 in 2011 and are eligible for one or both of these Access Melbourne categories then achieving the indicated ATAR will make you eligible for a guaranteed Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) in this course (prerequisites apply) www.access.unimelb.edu.au
- 4. KLD Young Scholars are guaranteed a place in this degree (prerequisites apply).
- 5. KLD Young Scholars are guaranteed a place in this degree (prerequisites and student quota applies).
- 6. KLD Young Scholars from underrepresented schools are guaranteed a place in this degree (prerequisites apply).

- 8. The University offers four types of guaranteed entry pathways to our professional entry graduate courses with various ATAR requirements.
- 9. Global Scholars receive up to $2,500 for a Study Abroad or student exchange experience (student must maintain an average of 65% in their degree).
- 10. Eligible Access Melbourne applicants will automatically be considered for a Melbourne Access or National Equity Scholarship (offering up to $6500 per year for the normal duration of your degree). Further information about equity scholarships is here.
- 11. Young Scholars from regional Victoria and interstate will receive a $2,500 relocation allowance to assist with the costs of settling in Melbourne to study at the University of Melbourne.
- 12. The ATAR you have entered is equal to or higher than the minimum ATAR for this course which makes you eligible for a place (prerequisites apply). If you accept a place in a Chancellor's Scholars Program you will receive the following: A Melbourne National Scholarship, providing: a HECS exempt Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP); annual allowance of $5000; OR for interstate students an annual allowance of $10,000 and one return flight home. Students will also be guaranteed access to: a Global Scholars Award ($2500 to support an approved study abroad or exchange program during undergraduate studies); an internship; targeted academic enhancement opportunities. Students who are offered a CSP in these programs will be guaranteed a CSP in any professional entry masters (coursework) degree of their choice* (subject to course prerequisites). This guarantee includes the University’s flagship graduate degrees such as the Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Dental Surgery, Doctor of Optometry, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, the Juris Doctor, and the Master of Architecture.
Please note: if you accept a place in a Chancellor's Scholars Program degree you are not eligible for additional Young Scholars or Global Scholars benefits on top of those already stated for our Chancellor's Scholars Programs.
