Deferring your offer

Applying for a deferral

The application process for deferring your offer or reserving a place in a new degree varies depending on your situation. Choose the category below that best describes you and follow the link to the appropriate deferral process:

Transferring to a different course

If deferral is not possible for the course you have been offered or if you wish to be considered for a different course (not available to you under the 2008 Deferral Policy) you will need to reapply for 2009 entry through VTAC.

If you have commenced studying your course and wish to transfer to a different course this will be regarded as a transfer and should be applied for through the Student Information System.
