On campus visits for Australian school groups
An on campus visit is a great way to see the University in action and experience its community atmosphere and daily activities. We welcome school groups to visit the Parkville campus for a University tour or talk at selected times during weekdays.
If indigenous students will be visiting with your school group, consider organising a session with staff at Murrup Barak - the Melbourne Institute for Indigenous Development to learn more about the support programs and services for prospective and current students. We can tailor these sessions to suit your students and program.
Please note your interest in the online booking form that follows.
School visits (off-campus visits)
The University welcomes opportunities to attend off-campus events, participate in careers expos, or present course specific information sessions to your students.
Priority is given to events that are:
- Scheduled between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on weekdays
- Organised for multiple schools
- Appropriate to both Year 11 and Year 12 students
Due to increasing demand for off campus school visits, it may not always be possible for us to accommodate your request. Our aim is to provide a fair and equitable service to all schools and we will consider attending one event per school each year. All requests will be considered, but schools are asked to indicate which event they would prefer University of Melbourne to attend, if they are asking for more than one.
Murrup Barak, The Melbourne Institute for Indigenous Development, offers a range of programs and initiatives to assist prospective and current Indigenous students to realise their potential through tertiary study. If you would like to arrange a visit from a Murrup Barak representative for your Indigenous students, please note your interest in the form below.
