How to defer your offer

Circumstances sometimes mean that you need to commence your studies later than you originally planned. You may apply to defer your offer for up to one year from the commencement date on your original letter of offer.

If you find you need to defer, please complete the Deferral Request form or write to International Admissions requesting a deferral stating your preferred commencement date.

If permission to defer your offer is granted, you will be notified in writing by the University that your place has been secured.

Preparing for study

The next step after accepting your offer is getting ready to study. As an international student, that means making sure your visa is in order, getting ready to move cities, finding accommodation and more. Here are some helpful resources to make the transition easier for you.

How to decline your offer

If you decide that you are unable to accept your offer please complete the non-acceptance form.
