"I am looking at nitrogen management of rain-fed wheat in Mediterranean environments, through the integration of remote sensing information. I have developed my research project, have been tutoring students and making connections with the academic world. I like the relaxed environment of Melbourne: its parks, its cafes and restaurants, and I've found people very friendly. Melbourne has a lot of cultural events, sport and entertainment. I enjoy taking part in them." |
"My main motivation for enrolling for a Masters with the Office for Environmental Programs after ten years working in the financial sector was a growing feeling that the traditional approach to business needs to be changed dramatically if the world is to have a long-term future. The multi-faculty approach of the program encourages precisely the broadening of the scope of our reflection."

"Melbourne has so many different layers to explore, and as a filmmaker this is invaluable. The VCA gives you access to the best people in the industry, as staff, tutors and guest speakers." |
"The first issue that hit me when I first arrived was my inadequate academic English knowledge and the struggle to write essays as well as the local students. The only solution for me was to study twice as hard as everybody else which turned out to be highly rewarding later on in my degree as it prevented me from 'slacking off'." |
Visas
European countries vary from student visa sub-class 1 (Western Europe) to student visa sub-class 2 or 3 (for example, Latvia or Turkey). You can find out the assessment level of your country at the Department of Immigration and Citizenship. International students from level 3 and 4 countries require a pre-visa assessment from the Department before they can accept their offer.
