"Despite coming from an expatriate family, and having spent several years studying in a boarding school in the UK, moving to Australia was quite a big step for me, but one that I am very grateful I took. The course is tough and the workload heavy, but the faculty is on your side the whole way. Now, at the start of my third year in Melbourne, I am certain I made the right decision." |
"I had met quite a few University of Melbourne students on exchange at Imperial College who always recommended the Uni. The Uni’s international ranking and its reputation made me even more excited about studying here. The strong links between my home institution and University of Melbourne also means that I can have my grades and coursework results transferred with ease." |

"Combined Arts degrees in the UK are not common. The top British university that offered a combined Arts degree certainly didn?t offer the breadth of subjects that Melbourne was offering. These last semesters I have taken subjects in History, Political Science, Socio-legal Studies, Business Law, Anthropology and French. I also plan to take some subjects in Economics and Management. While I will have to decide on a major and co-major towards the end of the degree, I am able to pick and choose from a tasting of enriching and exciting subjects in my early years." |
"I would recommend the University of Melbourne to students in the UK, as it would provide them with an opportunity to learn in quite a different way from a traditional Masters there. The MAC allows you to learn along with other people, in quite a collective style, and I think this is a really effective way of learning business at Masters level." |
Visas
Students from the UK and Ireland are eligible for student visa sub-class level 1, which means that applications to study in Australia are simpler than for some other countries.
