Graduate equity scholarships

The University offers a number of scholarships designed to support students in meeting the costs associated with graduate study.

Graduate Access Melbourne Bursaries

Graduate Access Melbourne Bursaries are a one-off grant of $5,000, awarded to eligible Graduate Access Melbourne applicants. Up to 200 bursaries are awarded each year. If you are eligible under Graduate Access Melbourne and are accepted into your chosen course, you will automatically be considered for a Graduate Access Melbourne Bursary.

Maisie Fawcett Scholarships

The Maisie Fawcett Scholarship is a part of a collaborative agreement between the University of Melbourne and Victoria University, to help graduates access courses not offered at Victoria University. Up to five scholarships - a one-off grant of $5,000 - are awarded each year. If you are eligible under Graduate Access Melbourne and are accepted into your chosen course, you will automatically be considered for this scholarship.

Master of Engineering Access Scholarship

If you apply for the Master of Engineering and submit an eligible Graduate Access Melbourne application, you will be considered for a Master of Engineering Access Scholarship. Each scholarship is worth $10,000, paid over two years in $5,000 instalments. There are up to 10 scholarships awarded each year.

Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning Scholarships Fund

Students applying through Graduate Access Melbourne for a program in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Construction Management, Property, Urban Planning or Urban Design in the Faculty of Architecture, Building and Planning will automatically be considered for a scholarship of up to $2,000 from the Faculty's Scholarship Fund.
